How long should my lesson be?
This all depends on the student & what their goals are. If the student is serious about singing 45 minutes to 1 hour is fine.
If the student is doing singing lessons for fun & they are 10 years old or under, then 30 minutes is plenty of time.

The student will be more motivated if they choose songs that they feel connected to or enjoy singing.
I will usually have a say if the songs aren’t suitable for example if the song is too difficult, has explicit lyrics or if it is in the wrong key signature and can always recommend songs if they are unsure.

A smart phone or an iPad that allows you to record singing lessons so practice can be done at home.

An A4 folder with plastic sleeves to put either sheet music / lyrics of the music you are working on. The homework booklet that I send out via email & lastly a note pad to write any notes.

A bottle of water.
What should I bring with me to singing?
I request that you please give me at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend the lesson or if you are sick & need to reschedule your lesson.
If you cancel your lesson less than 24 hours notice then it cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
